At certin times mosses produce spore capsules which may appear as beak-life capsules borne aloft o thin stalks.They do not live in one area of land or water they live on land and in water.Materials which are porous and moisture retentive, such as brick, wood, and certain coarse concerte mixtures are hospitable to moss.
